Creating a Login.gov Account

The step 1 of 4 page. There is a space to type your e-mail address and press the Submit button.

The first step is to enter your e-mail address. Make sure this e-mail address is accessible. Subsequent steps will require access to the e-mail to validate the account.

When ready, click the Submit button.

Note: We highly encourage applicants to use personal rather than work e-mail addresses when creating their account. If they get a new job with a different organization or company they will still need to be able to access that e-mail account each time in order to log in.
